Bones – FOX TV Show Last Season
On January 3rd, 2017 Bones will premiere its last season. After 12 seasons the show will be cancelled. The last season will consist of 12 episodes. David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel have closed deals to return as the series leading duo Booth and Brennan.
Bones premiered in 2005 with mixed reviews from the critics, but for subsequent seasons have received generally positive reviews.
The ratings during the first 11 seasons were okay. In several of the seasons, it finished in the top 50 network shows, being season 6 the best, when finished in the 29 place, with an average around 11.5 millions viewers per episode.
Even though the show will be cancelled after season 12, fans should be happy to have a planned final season. Most shows do not get that opportunity. Enjoy each episode knowing that the end is coming. And if this is not enough, you could always go back to the beginning and watch it in reruns or streaming services.
