Showtime Original TV Series

Most of the self-called movie channels have gotten more popularity with the original series. This is the case especially for Showtime, which as premium movie channel was one of the least popular. That change when they decided to follow the steps of HBO and started creating original TV series. The great quality of many of the series has made Showtime one of the leaders in premium cable channel. Some of their most popular series include Dexter, Weeds and Homeland.

Showtime’s new strategy is to premiere one of their current TV series each month:

Masters of Sex Season 4 – September 11

Shameless Season 7 – October 4

The Affair Season 3 – November 20

Homeland Season 6 – January 15

Billions Season 2 – February 19
